Dr Johana Stefan attained dual fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (Paediatrics) and the Royal Australian and NZ College of Psychiatrists in 2008, with certification in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. She has worked as a child psychiatrist in hospital and community settings in WA, including Princess Margaret Hospital, the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services and the Complex Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorders Services in Joondalup and Murdoch.
She was a Clinical Senior Lecturer with the University of Western Australia and involved in postgraduate teaching and examination of psychiatrists and paediatricians in training. Dr Stefan is currently running a small private practice, with special interest in school‑age children and adolescents with complex presentations, providing a family‑centered, holistic and collaborative approach to the care of her patients.
